Horn sounds wrong
I went through a somewhat deep puddle in my lacrosse and now my horn sounds wrong. Sounds weaker than it should, this happened a few days ago and it still doesn't sound right. Have I borked my horn or is there something I can do to fix the problem?

Battery Going
My lacrosse has the original Delco battery thats about 6 or so years old. I noticed when starting in cold weather (30 degrees) recently its diming the lights a bit more and sounds like its taking more of a kick to turn the car over. But when its in the mid 50s during the day it turns over no sweat ...

Re: service stability system.....sometimes
One other thing are you also getting an ABS and Trac light? On my dad's Park Avenue he got the SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM for a bit. Ends up it was the steering wheel position sensor at the base of the column. Guy at the dealer said its a common problem on many cars of that age with stabilitrak. Part ...

Should I buy this GXP?
There's a 2005 GXP for sale at a local lot for 9500. Its fully loaded with 98k miles on it. Tires are brand new. Does this sound like a good deal? Is there anything I should be aware of when buying a GXP? The only thing I can tell is it looks like the sunroof dips in the back a bit. Dealer says its ...

Good Brake Pads
I've been told to replace the brakes on my lacrosse. I've been looking around at different brands and having trouble deciding. I got a flyer from the stealership offering a Delco Durastop brake pad job for $89. Has anybody here had any experiences with the durastop brakes? Any other recommendations ...

Re: Engine Hesitation/Stumbling/Backfiring
They were done about 2 or 3 years ago. We took it to the shop, the mechanic replaced a vacuum line, and the plugs and he says its better but still a bit rough. He noticed the front motor mount is shot. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon, its a pain being short a vehicle in the family.

Engine Hesitation/Stumbling/Backfiring
My 01 Park Avenue Ultra started having a problem today. While driving the engine started stumbling on acceleration and it has stalled taking off from a light a couple of times. I think it may have backfired once or twice. It will usually do it when shifting from first to second. The RPM on the tach ...

My 01 Park Avenue is having an issue with the A/C. Rear Window Defog Innoperative
The rear window defogger on my 01 Park Avenue has stopped working. When I push the button on the instrument panel the light comes on and wait about 5 minutes and nothing happens. I thought I don't think the grids are broken since this is happening to all of them. It just stopped working one day. Any ...

Re: Blower Motor Connection
Well, the wire was replaced with one from the dealer a year ago. They gave us one because according to the dealer they replace these wires on occasion so they have precut lengths that GM gave them for this. It was a common problem on Suburbans and some chevy trucks. I called that dealer again today ...

Blower Motor Connection
On my 01 Park Ave im having an intermittent problem with the blower motor I figured out that its a short in the wire from the Blower Module to the motor. I wiggled the wire around the connection (and the motor started right up). I just replaced the connector and the white wire a year ago because the ...
