Re: Replaced fuel level sender, but no luck with dash gauge
Any news on a fix for this? Im dealing with the same gauge problem. Put in a different pump that was told was good and still have the problem. Not sure if the sender on the new pump was good though. Guy was pretty shady. Lesson learned. I tested my old pumps sender and was getting wierd readings ...

Re: Rear air suspension issue
Finally got around to this. I have voltage at the pump at the red and black wires at all times with the sensor in the up or down position. My question is the green and white wires I'm not finding voltage there. What should I be checking with those two? Is there a way to bench test the pump I have it ...

Rear air suspension issue
So first I will apologize for a thread that I'm sure has taken place but I'm not finding it. Im hoping someone has a good troubleshoot process for the rear air ride on a 2001 ssei. I just got a new one with a blown trans. Replaced the trans and all the front end now its time for the rear. I am ...

Re: no start / security system fault
A few other things. I have tried both keys with no results. The fuel pump is not powering also and I believe that's what the security does is the fuel pump and the starter. Also the interior lights and the headlights or running lights maybe stay on way to long after I try starting it.

Hey guys been a while but now I have a 3.5 Aurora. So I bought this with a bad tranny but it did drive and I drove it home no problem with security. I replaced the trans and a fuel pump due to a bad level sensor now it won't start. I get nothing at all when key turns to start. With the key in the on ...

Re: Just bought an STS now it wont start
Update.
The problem is intermittent. Started working yesterday but now back to nothing. Any ideas. Starter relay 2 powers up but nothing on starter relay 1.
Any help with direction is greatly appreciated.

Just bought an STS now it wont start
Just bought a 99 STS. Let the problems begin.
So I was cleaning it out Saturday night and killed the battery. I bought it with a junk battery. Jumped it once and got it started. Died again, put a charge to it and could not get it to do anything. No starter clicking, nothing. Bought a new battery ...

Re: Engine swap suggestions
Engine and trans can come out and back in together or separate from the top. I had a seized engine so I could not separate them in the car and they pulled fine. Seems to me it's easier from above as you don't have to pull the stearing and frame and suspension apart. Only way I would go below is if ...

Re: Wont stay running. Updated with a video of problem.
Pulled the MAF plug off (front right side of the throttle body correct?) and it was worse. I have gone through all vaccum lines and all are in good shape and properly connected.
Have not pulled codes as it wont run enough to get up to autozone. I lost my access to a Tech2 when GM stopped using ...

Wont stay running. Updated with a video of problem.
So I start just fine and run perfectly normal for about 10 seconds then a quick bog down alot of sucking air sounds and chugging. Sounds like the exhaust is plugged and like its out of gas all at the same time. I can keep it alive with the gas pedal for a moment or two but not long. Does anyone have ...

Re: 2002 bnneville will not start
You could have a full charge in the battery as far as volts but could have a problem with amps. Lift up your back seat and put a multi meter on the battery and have someone try to start it if the voltage drops below 9 volts when you are trying to start the engine then you do not have enough amps to ...

Re: Hard to Turn - But only going right
My 2000 SSEi did the exact same thing as yours. It was a bad rack and GM let me know that it is common to loose right hand turning in our cars. I picked up a low millage rack from a junk yard for $65 and have not had a problem since.
It not that hard to replace just be very careful when loosening ...

Re: Open Road Rally In Nevada
FLy into Vegas and go to Dream Cars off the strip and Tropicana. You can rent a Ferreri for $700 for the day and go balls out. Or a new Vette for about $300 for the day. They have tons of high end and exoctic rentals.
