Re: Powdercoat Calipers
As far as chipping goes, i used the 1500 degree FORD or CHEVY RED paint can from Autozone and painted my calibers on my Intrepid and put atleast 2 coats on each caliber and let dry and applied the same 1500 degree clear can and never had issues with discoloring or chipping!! 3 years later still ...

Re: Replacing rear spark plugs.
Yea me and my buddy did mine and the rear really wasn't that bad.... We did find that the gasket on that AIR Flange thingy was not put on correctly and was causing air to escape b/c the area around it was black.... We cleaned it off and after the plugs was installed we put the gasket back in place ...

Re: You gotta be kidding!!
Is it shifting hard, even on light acceleration?!?
And does it shift hard when slowing down in the gears also?
If so, that could be a transmission line pressure issue.
Stop the car, shut it off, wait a few seconds, then start & go again.
If the sympton is gone, go have someone read the codes & see ...

Re: Age of battery
the build sheet for my GXP says it was made in 2004 and i just replaced the battery last friday 6/15/12 but it should have been replaced last year... for some strange reason my MPG is up by 2-3 mpg on the highway!!!! Any reason for this after the new battery installed?
