Just fyi. The windshield rider for state farm is less than $20.00 a year. No deductible.

Maybe somebody could post advice on removing the small airlines at the top of the shocks. Mine wouldnt come out clean an needed to be cut. We fished the small orings out and reinstalled them. Held up fine and never popped loose. Im sure theres a trick to it tho knowing these guys lol and the sensor ...

If the plastic coating is too deteriorated from the sun you can cut or heat gun it off and just repaint the metal underneath. I never saw the point of wrapping it with something thats just going to come off again. my 2c ;) BTW if the plastic isnt too far gone you can easily sand it smooth and ...

Not sure of its worth starting a new thread.....but how difficult is it to swap out an aftermarket amp in place of the bose? The wiring is all there. Anybody have wiring specs on the bose amp?

Why dont you just cut a port or two in the deck under the cloth? youll hear it better and wont see any holes

I never liked the puck only design so I bought a heavy duty rubber grout smoother for tile jobs and cut out puck circles to help improve the vibrations and shock. Going to install soon so ill let you know how it goes.

No time to keep searching so I got the Monroes. Very nice. And they were black, not white like in the pic. The air lines were a pita. One broke. Ended up cutting the ends. Then salvaging the o rings and installing them like that. Held in great. GXP sways are sweeeet! Need to sell my fe2 sways now ...

I've seen a lot of guys using the monroes. Some use delcos. Is the performance equal? Does it come down to cost?

Ive been wasting the past 2 hours seaching posts. Not much help. Ive got gxp sways for my ssei. Ive got the moog heavy duty endlinks. Are the energy suspension that much better? Do the moogs need to be shortened? Whats the best length for the links? And Ive seen gxp replacement shocks available at ...

Everything is good. Sealant worked. Going to machine it down next chance I get. Love the vacuum sound at idle and really love the way it screams now when you really get on it ;) replacing the radiator Monday then GXP sways. New rear shocks. Modded puck mount. Lines are good. Seems to new hairline leak on the upper, lim gasket. Trying high torque gasket sealant. If it cures and works by tomorrow were good. Otherwise I'm decking the school plenum. And if I do that I'm porting the lim

I doubt it was acid. I've had and inch of water back there several times. I think it was the drain tubes from the sunroof leaking or maybe a crazy trunk leak? Make sure your drain hole doesn't get plugged too.

Ok. Its not the Pcv. Noticed the boost gauge pegs all the way negative during the whistle and it does.fluctuate during the whistling. Any ideas?

Valve rattles but seemed to be able to blow through both ways? Should be a one way valve right? The sc porting was intense. Very nice work. I've never heard a car with such a loud whistle before tho.
