ive had similar problems..also replace the pcv valve. cheap, easy and just might fix that problem.

it does cover up the battery and oil gauges and i can just barely see the temp. gauge which i think is the most important. i just pray i never have a reason to notice anything with the oil gauge and the battery i dont find that important as long as the car starts. i think i can probably position it ...

i wouldnt consider my seats end of life. actually only the drivers even shows actual sign of use. ill post a few pictures soon so you guys can see. maybe those do it yourself kits might be useful to me...actually if you think it might not match well, thats a no go. everything has to look like it ...
