Upgraded fog lamps for 1995 SE
I am looking to upgrade the fog lamps in my Bonneville SE but have not been able to find anything that seems to be the right size for the stock location. Everything I have found is either to small, or when put into the stock bracket they are not centered in the the bumper cover location. Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good replacement fog lamp. Thank you.

This is more of a detailing/appearance question than a mechanical/maintenance question.
Anyhow, what shape are the original lights in? If they're intact and functional, try a new set of bulbs along with aiming them. 16 year old bulbs will be much dimmer than brand-new replacements. Don't get Silverstars, as they're cheap trash with a big ad budget.

The orignal fog lamps work, but one fills with water when ever it is driven in the rain. If I am going to replace them I would like to upgrade them at the same time.

When I installed aftermarket fogs on a members 93 back in 07, I had to use washers to lower the fog so it was centered in the hole.

Re: Upgraded fog lamps for 1995 SE
I use Pilot Navigator NV602w driving lights, and I like them a lot. They are 3 3/4 inch in diameter, so almost fill the holes in my 94 SE. I will add a tube of some sort to the moisture holes on my next set, as this set managed to get water in them. (I did wade through some deep water a while ago.)
They have glass lenses, so they won't fade like plastic, but they also can be cracked by rocks/road debris. Also, they use H3 bulbs, so you can upgrade the 55w stockers to higher wattage bulbs. I use 100w.

They should work on any Bonneville.

Re: Upgraded fog lamps for 1995 SE
I have these on my car. I went through 2 other brands before settling with these. I tried Navigators but the glass was clearly thinner on the Navigators. I experienced cracks with every set I've had. I have since started keeping my fogs off most of the time and haven't had any cracks in a year. I think with how hot aftermarket fogs get from putting out more light makes them crack easier so I'm thinking water or snow makes them crack easy.wake wrote:whatever you do DONT get these

that does play a key role in it..im sure they last longer in Florida
my buddy had a set on his grand am he took the 55w bulbs out and put in 100w bulbs..they were stupid bright and could be used as headlights i swear..but not one week after he did the swap of bulbs the right one had a real nice crack in it and some hazing
fog lights really fall on where you live, driving conditions and wether you do more in town or out of town driving

My Navigators only crack or break from road debris. They are on every time I drive (60+ miles daily).92BonneSE wrote:I have these on my car. I went through 2 other brands before settling with these. They are cheap enough that I just keep an extra pair "in stock" for when the inevitable rock damage comes.

I run the navigators on both my Bonnevilles. Never cracked or broke one. They don't blind oncoming drivers, and I run 50w H3's in one, 100W H3's in the other. They are mounted to the stock brackets and are only slightly smaller than stock diameter. They stay on all the time.

Nevermind the idiot in the picture. This pic shows the projector/angel eye kit available as a direct bolt-in. The bulbs they come with are a bit on the dim side, but the projector itself isn't bad.
