I am not looking to get into a full blown subs in the trunk system. I am pretty happy with the way my stock system is... I just want a LIL better sound... lil lower bass, and a little more range. What speaker can I use with the bose system? Obviously I have read anything over 2ohms won't really work ...

Re: RCA Inputs...
Ok I found my option. PAC makes a kit called the AUX-BOX, if I do the in dash upgrade to the c215 harness, and hook up this kit, it will give me the option to use the headphone jack style, or RCA inputs... and comes with a ton of connection harnesses for diff apps. Where can I get the CD changer ...

Re: RCA Inputs...
Sorry I did read it, but I must have missed that part... you are right about the jack, that is the route I will go... but if I wire that right into the connector, will the radio allow me to select another source, without the use of the Data line being hooked up to something?

Re: RCA Inputs...
Yeah I was looking at that... it is almost like you could just straight wire a set of RCA's into that C215 connector as long as I contact GM and get a set of correct pins. But I am wondering... the serial date line... I think it needs that to know the CD changer is present, to allow for you to ...

I am getting a new engine for my car cause if had a bearing go out right after a LIM job. I found a scrap yeard which didn't want my core back, and I am wondering if someone wants to buy the heads/intake/supercharger (with all sensors and TB)/crank pulley etc so they can do a supercharger add on ...

Exhaust tips....
Anyone got pics of their 00+ SSEI or SLE's bonnevilles with different tips on them? I thought this set would look badass on my car, but not sure they would fit the ports on the bumper right...

Black car help...
I have a black 01 SSEi. Everytime I try to wax this car it looks excellent in the shade, the second it hits the light, it looks like I grabbed a cheesburger and waxed the car with it. It looks like greasy residue. Dosnt matter what kind of rags or wax I use... is there something I am missing here ...

Re: Serious Help please!! Gearheads...
I removed the valvecovers today, and ran the car, w/ no belts. My boss is swearing it is a lifter / valve train noise... (I am just a general service tech in a shop)... The noise just dosn't make your usaual loud tick that a lifter would, but I guess it could cause other noises... We don't usually ...

Re: Serious Help please!! Gearheads...
Ok, I will remove the belts tomorrow to try. Another question, can the oil pump make noise when it is going bad? It is driven off the crank, so the noise could still be present...
I am going to buy some reusable rocker bolts tomorrow, retorque, and remove belts.
Any other advice, just in case ...

Re: tranny prob?
Clean or replace the MAF. I had the same issure two weeks ago... almost feels like the car dosn't know which gear it wants to be in at higher speeds, and wants to die from a start. Replaced MAF, took care of issure. Snap on scan tool showed that when the roughness was there, the MAF was actually ...

Serious Help please!! Gearheads...
I can't seem to track down my problem.
I had a loud ticking noise, was OBVIOUSLY a lifter that went bad. The dish in the top of the lifter cocked sideways. I replaced the lifter, the LIM gaskets, and supercharger gaskets. I reused the rocker bolts (maybe part of the problem?) Changed the oil ...
