Exhaust tips....

Post by Raviaan »

Anyone got pics of their 00+ SSEI or SLE's bonnevilles with different tips on them? I thought this set would look badass on my car, but not sure they would fit the ports on the bumper right...

like the oval shaped ones in this pic...

If you want GOOD exhaust tips that won't rust out on you, stay away from the local parts stores. You are gonna want something that is stainless steel and usually cost at least $60+ for a good set. They will last a very long time and you will be happy you aren't replacing old rusty ones every 6 months. Don't get me wrong though, you CAN find stainless steel ones for $20-60, just gotta look.

$43.44 + $43.44 + $12.26 shipping = $99.14 weird

Nice contradiction.

When I got my SSEi it was missing one of the tips so I got another OEM tip from the local Chevy dealer for $30. The clamp from the old tip was all rusted on and crap and would not come off. We ended up having to cut the clamp off, which was fine because we got a clamp with the new tip.

Your 2003's tips are clamped on so you shouldn't have to cut them off.
