Re: fan switch override
Sorry about that, my service engine light is on because of the removed relays. It doesn't come back on when I reinsert the relays

Re: fan switch override
No no pending codes. Only my p0442 code if I remember correctly. The only thing I could think of is the way I wired my alarms remote start to the 2nd acc wire. I was trying to have the heat come on while its started remotely. I don't know exactly when this problem started and I don't know if any of ...

Re: fan switch override
Well so far Ic checked for codes and nothing. I played with fan relays sp I think, hi, and low. When removed the fans turn off respectively and the sp relay keeps it from coming on completely.

fan switch override
I remembers a long time ago that there was a fan switch override on the series 1 motor. Since I can't figure out why my rad fans stay on during start up to shutdown I was wondering if it's possible to do it on the series 2 motor, specifically my PA Ultra.

Flex Pipe flange on DP
Has anyone ever cut the flange off the flexpipe (stock downpipe) and considered welding it to an aftermarket DP? From what I see it could create some what of a bottle neck before entering the pipe as the flange is doubled walled, but will it hurt or be the same as running a stock flexpipe (downpipe ...

Re: p0442 evap line replacement
Well I found out that a regular vacuum line won't last from the fuel vapors and such so its best to use fuel hose.

Yes it's rusted along with a p0442 code. So I was going to replace the line along with the valve

p0442 evap line replacement
I'm going to replace the line going from the engine bay to the evap canister in the rear of the vehicle. Since it is just a vac line would it be safe to use vacuum hose alone with a steel line?

Ok I can't get my idatalink (solo- ads-alsl-gm) to function properly it keeps flashing red even when I factory reset. I didn't connect any wires to the passkey as the diagram shows not to, idk. So I'm going to wire my alarm in the old hard way. There is a xpresskit bypass already installed for ...

Re: 2008 Altima 2.5L tapping/ticking noise.
I see a couple on ebay for around $1,000 up to $1,500. I'm kind of glad about that. But I'm hoping I can get it replaced or something for a little cheaper.

Re: 2008 Altima 2.5L tapping/ticking noise.
2 blocks, 2 miles... its about the same when your engine doesn't have any oil.
That sounds like clunking, not ticking to me. I'd guess that the bottom end is on the way out the door.

2008 Altima 2.5L tapping/ticking noise.
Long story short, the car ran over a concrete stump and smashed the hell out the oil pan causing the oil to spill out. The car was drove about 2 blocks to be parked in a safe place to be worked on. After I replaced the oil pan I hear this ticking/tapping noise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ...
