going to be putting one in the 03sle. have looked at gm reman, one from triple edge,
and talked to stree smart transmissions, a seller for ete remans. other than gm, i have no
knowledge of the others . anyone have any experience with these or others who might be good?

odered a delphi. even delco isnt oem anymore. delco is the biggest repakager in the world
now that gm doesnt own them.

im sorry , i misspoke. they are delco iridiums. also found out there is a tsb
on the mitchell line about this problem. i was told by my mech. friend to try a tps first.
he also has a known good icm i can try. good to have friends . we help each other out.
work back and forth.

have replaced new plat delco plugs, wires and coils on my 03. want to change the module.
the delco is probably the way to go but are there any others as good.not an
airtex fan.
the problem is a low rpm miss under load. this car at 56000 has had more probs
than my 01 did at 150,000 plus. even th 01 ...

now that we know how it comes out is there anything that can be lubed
on the sunroof parts for better operation and longer life.my wife
opens ours every nice day. i leave it closed. any special stuff you guys use
for lube in this area/

got the kit in today. shifts in the .3 -.4 second range.only put
a couple of miles on. will see how it goes. thanks for all the help!!

ordered the kit from triple edge. it has had a long shift time from 2-3 quite often. has
done it for the 20,000 miles ive owned it. no residue in the pan.fluid changed at 34000
and at 50000, when i put in dexron 6 and lubegard platinum. will try the kit first and
hope it works. if not the pcs ...

already tried luegard and have dexron 6 in trans. car has 56000 on it.

i s this the solenoid code you talk about?

funny. i was just going to search for this . same is happening to me. sounds like
a common problem. my dealer has them in stock[delco]. thanks for the help.

late addition-- if you are careful, you can lift the console top up at
the rear and carefully remove the prndl plastic box out,pull the bulb,
and replace the plastic. remember to line up the shifter nub with the
slide on the box. 5 min, you are done. i didnt invent this . a ...

how easy to change the shifter lamp that lights the prndl on an
01 sle? this is the one in the console.thanks!

replacing both today w/skf and 1 tie rod end that wasnt replaced
before i bought it . my 97 has over 210000 and never had any underneath work .
you guys are right . the newer ones dont last as longw/o parts
replacement.so, what else will fail soon.already did manifold stuff, elbows and
water pump as ...

will 03 headrests directly swap into an 01? my wife
hates the halo rests in the 01. i have the dark tan interior

freind of mine had a similar situation at his shop on a cadillac. ended up
being a broken wire going into one of the doors.somehow screws up the
info going to the computer data stream and puts it into a no start mode.
just a thought. way out in left field but its worth a look

seeing the part # is the same for se and sle fo frt struts, whats your
replacement of choice.we drive our car only. no banzai racing. just
keeping the factory ride and cornering would be great. put monroe
air shocks on the back.its an 01 sle. thanks for your input--irv
