Re: Dash Lights Not Working and Turn Signals
My blinkers have just stopped working too. The hazard lights work fine but when using the turn signals they just light up without blinking. Also for the dash lights they occasionally go out from time to time. In order to turn on the dash light I turn dim control knob to the right then quickly back ...

Re: 95 Bonneville SSE - 124,000
That's a nice looking car. Welcome to the Bonneville club. If it's as clean as you say then it sounds like a firm investment. Bonneville's make great town-cars.

Waters Good but not on my Floors.
I acquired my 92se for a very reasonable price. Probably because the car leaked and the guy didn't feel like going through all the trouble of refurbishing it. I used it in its leaking condition for several months. Each time it rained I'd take the shop-vac out and pull the water out. Then about six ...

Re: Breaching the Firewall on a 92se
All wired up. The kenwood is up and going along with the xplod amp and sub out. Everything sounds good. The back sound great but the front sounds miserable. I still have to install the mobile crossover network for the tweeters. I think the driver side is wired as a tweeter and the passenger is wired ...

Re: So cool with a new roof !
I can finally breath again while driving. I don't know what that stuff was but it's not healthy for the driver. I did a decent job for the cost of the project. If anyone else tries this I recommend folding the liner in half and starting from the middle then working towards the outsides. Also use the ...

Re: Breaching the Firewall on a 92se
Today I started by removing the plastic wood and rewiring my CD player. It turns out the Xplod is much nicer with more features but for now I think I'll see what this Kenwood is capable of doing. In the back of the unit there's no audio output for rear speakers. There is front out and sub-woofer out ...

Dude I had the same problem. I used black gasket sealant along the outside roof where the trim meets the metal.

Re: Breaching the Firewall on a 92se
I did it. I have found a point of entry, drilled a hole and successfully put a +12v wire through the firewall with a grommet in place. I found a point a entry by removing the glove compartment box. At first glance you see nothing but wires. Push them aside and look through the mess. Sever inches ...

Breaching the Firewall on a 92se
Does anyone know where the appropriate opening is for the +12v wire? on a 92se. I'm installing a xplod system and I can seem to locate an opening to power the amplifier. Should I drill a hole somewhere or try an run it through the duct work, any suggestions ?

{Q} with Amplifier "Gain" or "Level Cotrol"
I just got a amplifier installation kit. Now I'm pre-wiring. There is nothing in kit that pertains to the "level control" input area on the amp. The level control input jack is the same as a telephone jack. Should I run a telephone wire in the pre-wireing assemble, then get a control device for it ...

Looks nice. Do you need the bass processor on the left to run and amp and sub? Do have any recommendations ? viewtopic.php?f=13&t=25794

Re: [Q] Plastic Tray Headliner
For the rear handles remove the two plastic parts similar to the ones above the passenger side. Also pull the plastic coat-hook part out. Then you can pull on the handle to remove them. Then the roof should only be hanging on by the back above the middle seat, just pull on that. Remove the trim ...

Re: [Q] Plastic Tray Headliner
The roof is also attached in the rear of the car, you just pull on it and pop it back in later. I guess just splice the wires back together. Same goes for the wires attached the rear handles. Unplug those then plug them in later. Its very tricky trying to reattach the roofs center-console because ...

Re: [Q] Plastic Tray Headliner
You don't need to cut anything. You might not have to remove the rear handles above the doors if you only want to access the plastic area's above the rear view mirror. For the driver and passenger mirrors you'll see two tiny black screws, remove them. you'll see the black electric wire. its taped to ...

Re: [Q] Plastic Tray Headliner
If its similar to a 92 se. Remove all the handles above the windows along with the mirrors and trim between the doors. Then you should be able to pop the roof liner out, then you can access the plastic compartments near the rear view mirror. You can simply pop out the plastic area with lights near ...

Installing a new roof !
Finally I did something successfully. Since the day I got my 92 se it's been pulling though some hard times. Engine parts being replaced and so on. Then there was the interior. Not the most luxurious place to be, but relatively nice for for that year. Like the engine, the interior has been falling ...

Re: Cleaning carpets
I took my carpet's out. The roof used to leak and there would be puddles of water and wet carpet under my seats. So, my solution remove the seats and take the pet out of my car, literlally no carpet. I've been debating on weather or not to use rhino-liner on my floor like the back back of a pickup ...

How could a 22 year old kid who drives a car like that be accused of such criminal activites. False Criminal accusations.
