Long story short, the motor rocks towards the firewall and the front mount on the drivers side lifts alot. Is there an alternative mount available (solid, or polyurethane) that will take place of a stock replacement?

Interesting. Were the gaskets obviously failed? That is honestly a rare occurrence unless you have a turbo and pretty big boost.


The gaskets did'nt "obviously" fail, however the heads were milled .006" So the heads were not completely flat. I understand head gaskets dont go under low boost, but ...

Just got the car back together. Heads were milled, hot tanks and magnafluxed. Temp now stays @ 200 and doesnt climb. Thanks everyone.

ok 180* it is. I live in PA and we can have some brutal hot summers, but winter can also be a b*tch as well. As far as the pulley goes, its really nothing personal. I can just get the pulley cheaper from zzp.

OK so im going to get a zzp 3.5 pulley, fwi, 160* thermostat, and tune. Do you all think I should keep the stock heat range plugs (TR55's) or go colder (TR6)?

Been there, done that. The best gasket ive used to date is Remflex. Im not sure if they make them for a 3800 series engine, but it might be worth the time to look into. Thats true. Nothing wrong with mine. Who knows maybe there will be a day that ill need bigger injectors.
