Tires, How Big?
Being new to this model, my 2001 Bonneville SSEi has 235x55x17 tires on it. They appear to be the standard size. How big a 17" tires can I put on it? When the time comes anyway.

Re: LED Projector Fog Lights
Those lights look really good and have a good beam pattern for fogs. Would like to find something like that with a long range beam.

Rattle?
Since I got my '01 SSEi there has been a rattle. Sounds like what I thought was the spare tire/ jack rattling around in the trunk. Have checked that and everything else I can reach. All are tight. It has been suggested that it might be the toe compensator bar. This doesn't sound heavy like a ...

Re: replace fog lights 2001 ssei
1st time out after dark tonight. The headlights seem pretty good, as I expected the fog lights do almost nothing. As someone mentioned, about blinding people, that is simply an aiming issue. I have run pro rally with multiple 500k candle power long range driving lights. We're talking lights with a 5 ...

Did the 2001 Bonneville come with a key fob type door lock device? Mine does not have them, just a key and a copy of that. Are they available w/o going to the dealer?

rear door window trim
Told you there would be a lot of newby posts. The little curved piece of trim at the bottom of the back door windows are internally rusted it seems. Don't know what they are called. Are they available by themselves? If so, where? thanks

replace fog lights 2001 ssei
I will pick this car up tomorrow. From my past experience with pontiac factory "fog" lamps they do little to nothing. On my Trans Am I replaced them with 100w halogen driving lights. Eventually putting them on their own switch so I could use with Hi or Lo beams. I'm sure some of you have done this ...

A bittersweet day
Thanks for the add. I pick up a 2001 Bonneville SSEi on Monday. It's a little bittersweet because I'm giving up my 1994 Trans Am. The Bonneville seems to be pretty solid, with 125k on it. Black with what I guess is a charcoal leather interior. Will be doing some minor mods as time and $$ allow ...

New member with questions
I'm picking up a 2001 Bonneville SSEi on Monday. Seems to be a real solid car with 125k miles. How ever, in the trunk is a button that says "air" and next to it is a air valve like on a tire, to inflate it . No idea what this is. A little help please.
