New member with questions

Post by RedBird94 »

I'm picking up a 2001 Bonneville SSEi on Monday. Seems to be a real solid car with 125k miles. How ever, in the trunk is a button that says "air" and next to it is a air valve like on a tire, to inflate it . No idea what this is. A little help please.

Welcome!

Just an air pump. You can inflate bike tires or sports balls or swimming floaties. It runs off the air pump that is used in your air leveling shocks in the rear.

Glad you joined our group! Photos inside and out of your ride would be nice. Auto-leveling rear suspension is standard fair on a SSEi. - BC

It's nice to have when you load it up with heavy people or belongings. If you really don't want it buy the gas shock conversion

I'll get some pics up when I pick it up on Monday. Quite a change from my 1994 TransAm
