Searching to buy a 92-99 ssei

Hi all, I've been out of the game for quite sometime. Decided recently I wanted to start searching for another 92-99 bonneville. Possibly looking to spend 5-6k would like stock and low mileage. These seem like their starting to be hard to come by now a days. Maybe you all can give me a good lead ...

Re: intermintant slow crank dead battery

11.4-11.6 is what a battery is normally charged at, a 12 volt auto battery is never really at 12 volts at rest. 10.6v is the lowest rest voltage that it should start at, lower than 10.6v and it wont start. But that is not my case as stated. and yes i have load tested the battery.

Re: intermintant slow crank dead battery

I have used my volt meter when it does act up and it drops somewhere in the 8.7 range while cranking but when not cranking it goes back up to about 11.6 where it should be. Its acting as though the engine totally locked up and it cant turn it over. That is why im thing its a dead spot in the brushes ...

intermintant slow crank dead battery

I have tested my battery, alternator, starter. Every now and then it acts like the battery is dead but i jump it and its fine for weeks. I have cleaned all postives and grounds tested every wire for shorts and corrosion and found nothing. I think its corrosion in the fuse box or a dead spot in the ...

Re: sunpro air fuel gauge?

Most wideband i.e. AEM have you drill a 7/16th hole in the header and then they give you a clamp similar to a band clamp but has a spot for the o2 and once tight keeps the o2 sealed and tight, your other option is to weld in your own o2 bung.

Re: 03 PAU Rough/high idle now

if it is idling at 2000 rpms, no matter what the idle air curcuit is most likely dead heading itself inside of the throttle body causing high idle. if you can get your hands on a fsm for the car look up the wiring to the iac(idle air curcuit) and test it with a volt meter and see if voltage ranges ...

Re: trans shutters under acceleration

Shuttering is usually from clutch packs getting thin but stop slip will fix it for a while. When i replaced my diff my clutch packs for 1st were getting thin and should have been gone by mid summer but mine are still holding up fine.
