Not sure how to hook up the air/fuel gauge but I'm sure someone will chime in, most common place gauges are put are in the driver side top vent, the one with the flog light button and dimmer switch. Welcome to the club, were all pretty nice here so don't expect to be bashed for asking a question!

Re: sunpro air fuel gauge?
Thanks. Yea im an old club gp guy. Havent owned a 3800 for a few years but just picked up a nice ssei with some.nice mods so im just trying to add a few things. Mainly looking for some headers and a downpipe right now. I installed a boost gauge on the right side of the dic in the vebt and wanted to put the afr in the drivers side where you were talking. Just wondering what wire to splice into and what wire from the o2 sensor is the output wire

Reading right from the narrowband (stock) O2 isn't going to tell you anything. You need a wideband, if you can, return what you got and put the money towards an AEM or like...

Re: sunpro air fuel gauge?
Looking at fuel trims and O2 sensor voltage is fine for mildly modded cars, but from the mods you have listed, I'd say you should try and find a wideband. AEM makes great ones, as Ed mentioned. If you have headers, I know some of them have a bung for the wideband sensor.
Re: sunpro air fuel gauge?
Most wideband i.e. AEM have you drill a 7/16th hole in the header and then they give you a clamp similar to a band clamp but has a spot for the o2 and once tight keeps the o2 sealed and tight, your other option is to weld in your own o2 bung.

Re: sunpro air fuel gauge?
alright thanks. i guess ill just hold on to this cheap one or just sell it. im looking to get a set of headers and a downpipe as my next supporting mod. I kinda feel like it should have already been done to exhale better. But anyways what would be an easy and ideal wire to splice to light up my boost gauge?
