Been a little while...

It was absolutely beautiful today - sunny and upper 70's. It's been forever since I've posted any pics! Sorry about the lack of angles, but at least the scenery changes.

I still love how the sun turns the paint purple when it's at the right angle.

I got some 4500k HID's for the projector fogs and WOW, what a difference at night! I could literally use them alone as headlights :)

One tiny cloud happened to come by and it actually made things look sorta cool I thought.

Here's a quick run. Coolant and trans @180*. I was too conservative on the launch - just a tiny preload and I took a little too long getting into WOT - still somewhere at, or just a tad under, 14 to 100 though.

Very nice. That paint always looks awesome in the sunlight. Especially pic #3.

I love your 99 SSEi, it's really one of the nicest of our generation on the forum. Also that's my favorite color for the 96 to 99s. I really like the exhaust tips and how you have the chrome painted Pontiac letters in the back to match the chrome wheels and chrome tips. Very nice, very clean.

Looks awesome. I had a hard time telling myself whenever I saw the purple tint in my sister's 99 MB SSEi that it was the paint - not pollen and the angle of the sunlight.... it's a really weird, yet AWESOME effect with the heavy metallic look in it.

1-2 @ 50 is what I saw also. He must've still been conservative on the throttle -my stock valve-trained 99 SSEi with the ZZP 1.0 PCM in NORMAL shift mode does not make the WOT 1-2 shift until 52mph. 95 MPH for the 2-3 shift if I'm lucky, otherwise it's typically around 99-102 mph. Haven't found the 3-4 shift yet. :-$
