Anybody have experience with Wagner rotors?

Post by LeSabre in Buffalo »

Any experiences with Wagner rotors from Advance? I'm starting to get some shake when braking. It's not bad yet, but with my driving involving lots of hills, it's a matter of time before it gets worse. 60k on Ebay drilled/slotted rotors isn't too bad.

Or, are there other rotor brands I should be looking at?

When I first saw this title, i thought maybe I posted this last night and forgot about it. I will most likely buying Wagner rotors this week, I took a look at them and they look pretty good for the price. I'd be interested in hearing experiences as well.

We got over 100,000 miles on a set on my wife's Grand Am. The replaced them VIA lifetime warrantee along with matching Wagner pads because of a slight shudder.

I am sold on brakeperformance.com. I put a set of their dimpled/slotted rotors on my girlriends 05 dakota. She drives like a moron and is hard on brakes. Had the factory rotors warped at 30k. Now have 50k on the replacements and they are holding up just fine and no wobbles or vibrations. I cant attest to balancing because its a truck and i dont drive it over 90mph.

I have a set of those cheap-o drilled/slotted rotors on there right now. I got mine to wobble with 60k miles on them. Some EBC slotted rotors for $60 more than what I paid for the cheap (relatively) drilled/slotted rotors are being shipped right now. I've heard good things about the EBC's.

Got the EBC's on today, along with new ceramic pads and new rubber hoses. It stops very well now. There will be pictures of the EBC's compared to the previous drilled/slotted rotors. Here's a preview: The EBC's are MUCH thicker than the old rotors.

Yeah, the EBC's are great. Did AZ warranty the pads?

Yep, looked up the phone number. I walked in with the old pads in a plastic bag, left with the new pads in the same plastic bag!

EBC is heavier, too.

Ugh, heavy rotors suck sometimes. I think the rotors on the GXP weigh something like 15 pounds each. Heavy f*ckers...
