Hey thanks for the invite, sorry things didnt work out, anyway im looking for a hydraulic accumulator for my teves brake system on my 90 bonneville also is there any kind of test for one so i could go the junkyard route

Oh and to the staff this new site looks great thx for the effort

Have the brake system codes been pulled to get an idea of what the EBCM may see as the problem?

my computer took a dive and it took along time to get back online sorry for the absence,
my car being odb1 i know how to jump and count for engine codes but not for abs
is it the same?

IIRC the codes have to be pulled by the dealer for the abs system.It is just the engine coeds that are pulled from the jumper method.

i go to school at uti and im pretty sure we have GM scan tools so i could get it that way maybe? Whats IIRC stand for?

I think that is what you will need. I don't have the ABS on my 89, but I know quite a few have done away with it and gone back to the standard system.

By that do you mean converted over to a vacuum boost system and eliminated the abs all together.

Yes, that is what quite a few have done due to the cost of parts.

I have a Teves unit that worked fine when I pulled it from my 89SSE. Those suckers are heavy though and would probably cost a mint to post as I live in Canada.
