New pics of my Silverado

Post by lowrider0308 »

I think it has been almost a year since I really got out and took some pictures of my truck clean and in the daylight. I cant believe I have been driving it a year already. I have done a couple mods, and I have a couple more I want to do including black/polished off road rims, cai, tinted windows, and a nicer head unit. Anyway, on to the pics:

Here is a video of the exhuast at WOT. I'm not sure how good of quality this video is because all I have heard it on is my laptop speakers (which suck)

Very nice. I love the front ends on the 05 HD, 06 and 07 pickups (parents have an 05). Best front end on this body style. What's your mileage? Any plans for a tuner? Also, IMO, the K&N CAI is the best on the market for the 5.3. We put one on my parent's suburban, and it rocks.

I got it with 22, and its around 33,000 miles. I plan on a CAI one day, but since I'm building my camaro, and this truck already has 300 HP and its so light, a ton of performance mods to this doesnt make much sense to me.

Haha. I dont fill it up very much because of the 34 gallon tank. I am guessing its around 19-23. It could be a lot better but I have a heavy foot sometimes.

Oic. Now that gas is (relatively) cheap, you should run a full tank and check mileage. You could probably go for a while on 34 gallons, LOL.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with BBQ!!

Your Chevy is a handsome truck and should last you many, many years to come. I may end up replacing the stock hood with a raised turbo hood. They are mean looking.
