The M62 pulley is keyed. It should pretty much tap off. I had to use a 3 jaw puller, but it came off easily.

You will not be able to tap it off. You need a 3-jaw puller. You'll also need an old belt and some large channel-lock or vice-grip pliers to hold the pulley in order to remove and replace the nut unless you have air tools.

WARNING: The 3-jaw puller is ONLY for 91-95 L67's. 96 and newer L67's need a special puller that fully supports the back of the pulley.

Then use the 3-jaw puller. Depending on what tools you have, you may find it easier to move the coolant overflow bottle out of the way.

Moving to Forced Induction.

Techinfo. Link at the top and bottom of the page:

Keep in mind, I have wildly different setups on each car, and I wrote that article some time ago. I run a 3.25" on my accessory tensioner because I run a smaller alternator pulley (custom 160 amp alternator). I can't run an oversized idler on that same car for the supercharger belt, as my WP pulley is larger by 10%. So I ADDED another bracket and fixed idler which I use only when running the 2.2" and 2.0"

However, I run a larger idler on my 95 with a 2.5" supercharger pulley.

This gives proper belt tension and better belt wrap to prevent belt slipping. In simpler words, what I usually tell people is that when 'pulleying' down a series 1 L67, the idler is REQUIRED (or a short belt) on the 91-93 L67's, and optional but highly reccommended on the 94/95 L67.

I assume you already read this:
