Moog tie rod question
I just purchased a Moog outer tie rod for my 00 SE and I am rather confused as to where the washer that was included goes. Has anyone installed this part on their car? Thanks

Re: Moog tie rod question
I believe it's optional. Use it under the castle nut if you find that the nut goes down the stud too far that the cotter pin doesn't pas through the "slots" in the nut.

Re: Moog tie rod question
Just installed a set of these myself and can CONFIRM what "maxi426 " said. If the castle nut tightens to a depth that the cotter pin isn't able to engage the cogs in the nut, that can be bad. The Washer is there to take up add'l space.
