3800 Series 2 spark plug torque specs

Post by Merrillspontiac »

I've done spark plugs several times on the 3800's but I have always wondered what is the factory torque specification?

I always use the "good enough" torque spec spin them all the way down and then a little turn till they get tight with the 3/8 ratchet.

When I was in automotive school, they taught us that if you torqued to spec.the plugs would last longer. Never tested it to see if it's true. :dontknow:
