Brake pull to the left

Post by BTBSS »

I have replaced the front and rear pads and rotors and the car started diving to the left if I gave more than 50% brake on the pedal. Light pressure it did not do it. So I replaced the front calipers and still the same issue. Then I replaced the front brake hoses and still does it. I made sure that bled the front calipers as well. I also made sure that the pins were lubed. I did not replace the caliper mounts and think that this may be the issue with old grease in the slide pin holes causing a hang up. This is really annoying when driving.
It did to do this when I first bought the car and now it is. I also had it aligned when I put new shock and struts on.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I'm sure you did, but just to be sure...you thoroughly cleaned the rotors of their anti-corrosive oil packing correct?

Are any of the brakes getting hotter than usual while/after driving?

I have not done heat check to see if there are any issues.

I did not clean the rotors with brake clean before installing. There was not any heavy oil residue on the surface.

Now I'm starting to wonder if it could be the rear calipers. Are there any signs that a rear caliper is hung up?
