Hey everyone! It's been a super long time since I've posted anything, but I'm on here almost every day browsing everyone's projects and activities. This board is bustling!
I dropped by to see what you think about these wheels I got from a friend. In their original form, I'm not a huge fan of these wheels, but now.....
My friend Dave had them chromed several years ago and found Park Avenue center caps that fit! I'm really happy with them, but the tires are going to need replaced next year. I think the styling is pretty close and the chrome is just incredible in the sun with all those lines and angles...

Those wheels should have been chromed OEM. One other member has them on an 05 SLE and they look hawt. As does yours. Looks great!!!
Bye Bye: RIP sandrock

They look absolutely amazing on your car! Very well put together

I love these t-types! Even more so when they're L67 swapped! Have you considered lowering it an inch or two?

Oh wow thanks a lot everyone! I knew there couldn't be much dislike of chrome . I thought I had seen someones pictures a while back of a black SLE with those chrome wheels - I guess I was right!
bs009 - I never really got into dropping cars like that. I think it would look perfect with these wheels but that front spoiler is already so prone to curbs and steep inclines...I do have a friend who did it with his white T-type and it has 18" Rustang wheels and looks incredible.
Thanks again everyone!
So is it just me or are these wheels in the original silver just....blah?

The wheels look awesome on the car!!! I had them in silver on my 07 GP, I liked them on that but probably just because they made the car look so different...

Dang!! Everyone one has used all the words I can think of to describe how great the car looks with those wheels! The wheels are perfect with that color and body. - BC
EDIT - I scrolled through probably 100 of your photos on photo bucket. It sounds like an old cliche, but you really do some fantastic work! - BC
