07 Taurus SEL. Surprisingly, I really like the car.

My other "car" is an 07 Silverado.

What you got a Taurus and didn't post pics of it!? Shame on you. It would be the fifth picture you've posted in the past ten years...

Even though I'm temporarily DD the truck/bike, the SSEi is my normal DD. But even that will only see limited winter duty, that's what a 4WD truck is for.

My current main car is a 3.5l/5 spd swapped Infiniti i30. I picked it up when I started shaving my 95 Bonnie's engine bay and finally starting my long term n/a build.

The car barely started, ran rough, leaked and squeaked like crazy, was in 2 or 3 accidents, stolen and joy rode at one point, but.. It was a blast to drive. I did most of the original 3.5l swap for my buddy when it was his car and helped him 5 speed swap it. He was just over the car. I always liked it especially because I helped do the engine swap. The timing was right so I bit. This was also the same car that made me cam my 1st 95 SLE back in '04. Lost to said buddy on a closed course.

I've put a bunch of work into it since I can't leave well enough alone.. Here's some before and after pics.

I'm surprised how little I hate the intrigue. The lowering spring and big rear sway bar help. Needs struts and a sound system badly though.

My fiancee has an '03 Micra - an early example of the 'bug-eyed' shape. It's certainly reliable - her's is catching my Bonneville up in terms of miles covered and it never misses a beat. Not a bad drive either.

My GTO has been my daily driver..400 miles a week

Now that it is for sale I'm trying to keep it clean and the miles off it so it sits in the garage and goes out once or twice a week..usually the weekend and maybe one day to work when it has a low chance of rain.

So right now I am alternating between driving my parents 2000 GMC Jimmy that sits at there second home down here and my sisters 2006 Saturn Vue which will be going up to MN once the Bonne is brought down.

The SSEi is my DD. I drive it primarily because it gets better MPG's than either truck.

Before snow-fall (which hopefully isn't until after Thanksgiving this year) the K1500 will get put away and the ZR2 will come back out (need to do intake gaskets on it first). I'm not sure what I'll drive primarily in the winter. Probably the SSEi unless it is snowing, then I'll take the ZR2. I'm anxious to see what the SSEi does in the snow though.....although you can't beet a 5spd truck for having fun in the snow! We'll see. I might put some snow tires on my two extra rims now and slap them on the front of the car.

my 92 se is my DD. But once the snow hits I'll be driving the avalanche again. I know Bonnie would be a good winter car, and definatly looks the part of "winter beater" but she's getting some bad rust going on in places I dont like, so I plan to start my rebuild of her this winter, and declared last winter that she would never see snow again in her life. As long as the avalanche doesn't break down I wont have to drive here in the winter again. I do get asked alot by various people at work "Why do you drive that beat up old car when you have that beautiful truck?" I reply "I like the bonneville better!"
