project: 2000 SSEi (silver)

I picked this up a couple weeks ago but I've had it in storage since then because I've got too many projects going on.

Its a Galaxy Silver 2000 SSEi with 180k and a bad trans. Got it for $500. I have a tranny in stock that I'll throw in it tomorrow. It needs a passenger fender which I also have in stock, and a little TLC.

That's how I find them as well, craigsnotifica app, but it don't work like it used to. I tried a few other ones and they were even worse! At least this one I can check out the pics then hit the craigslist link.

I see a good deal come up on one about once or twice a month here, just snagged up a 2000 SLE with bad trans for $800 to use for parts for another I have and part / scrap the rest. Not as good of a deal as this one, but overall the parts I need will be cheaper this way then buying them individually.

Finished this one up a few days ago, but only today was it good enough to take some pics. I swapped in the tranny, put on a new fender, gently massaged out the dent in the rear bumper with some heat, gave it a good wash and vacuum and polished up the wheels. Really easy flip. Asking $4250.

Sold this car to a local lady last week for $4000. The day after she picked it up, the thermostat starting acting up, so I put in a new one for her and flushed and refilled the coolant system. Should be good for a long time now.
