I recently noticed that my '92 Bonneville doesn't seem to be sitting quite right. The back seems to be higher than the front. I took this photo today:

having said that, it doesn't look as bad as it did the other day, but it is definitely looking a bit too high at the back.

What's causing it?

Have you inspected the ride height sensor? I believe its on the right-rear A-arm, maybe it got knocked out of whack on one of your jaunts through the english countryside? Beyond that I don't know, but I would turn on the ignition, but not start the motor, and listen to how the compressor is working, you'll hear the fuel pump first, then the compressor should kick in at 20-30 seconds I believe. Hopefully you can determine whether or not the compressor is running too long, mine only runs for about 5 seconds after it starts.

Somebody here should have a few more in-depth checks for you, these are just a couple to narrow field of possible culprits.

My sensor arm broke off once in a position that made it think the rear was low, and it pumped the rear up a ways.

You can always unhook the lines and run new if the shocks are in decent condition. Cheap fix but you have to fill it with air manually after that

It's definitely not the lines or the compressor. It's the ride height sensor or something of that nature. Fairly simple fix I'm sure.
