You shouldn't really go more than 30 over, so 3.85 Liters

ok so .20 over is a enough or .30 is better for more power what do you think....

It's not worth boring it for performance, if you felt the need to rebuild it and it was worn past spec, then you could bore it .030, other than that there's no reason to do it.

30 over would get you a 235, a hair under 5/8cid per cylinder

Before you get out the ol' boring bar, make sure you decide what pistons to use. Not all pistons are available in all oversizes.

.030" over will realistically give you almost no power increase by itself, so if power is what you are looking for with this you are wasting your time and money.

Even with other performance enhancements like a cam, lifters, ported intake, and headwork that .030" over will have a very small effect on actual power produced.

ok what about performance chips....if i have to get an other pontiac i will i wanna have an other so i can do runs and on track runs...
