Re: Plasti-Dipped my wheels
Wouldn't it be simpler to get 'The Commando Look' by just installing black snow tire steel wheels without hubcaps?
Plasti-Dip makes nice Summer alloy wheels resemble a pickup truck bedliner. I like it for pliers...
At least it comes off easier than paint.

And one size does not fit all. It's OK to have an opinion that doesn't agree with everyone else's.

Re: Plasti-Dipped my wheels
Yea but it's another thing to come into a thread and basically make fun of what someone else is doing. It's fine if you don't like it, but you could take the high road and say that it's cool someone is happy with PlastiDip but that it's not for you. Or don't say anything at all.
My wheels don't look like a truck bedliner. Thats not respectfully disagreeing, that's just being a douchebag.
I don't know what you planned on accomplishing with your post. I guess I should just remove all the PlastiDip from my car because you don't like it?

Well said. Point taken. My apologies, sir. To each their own. Peace.

It's cool, no worries. I've just heard all the criticisms about PlastiDip; looks like crap, looks like a bedliner, looks like the handles of pliers. I get it, I'm a dummy for PlastiDipping my wheels.

Looks good, I just met a guy at a local carshow and he had a black corvette Z06. He plasti dipped his wheels black. It looked awesome.
How do one remove this stuff when you want to swap back or do a color change?
