ok guys i currently have a bonneville se. i am buing the l67 engine this weekend used do that i can rebuild it to be a good engine. has anyone done or know alot about this engine.
any imput and ideas would be helpful

Yes, there are a lot of people with experience with the L27/L36/L67 here. You need to ask a lot more detailed questions to get answers though.

The biggest things we need to know:
What else did you get with the engine? I hope you got the whole harness and the PCM, as well as the accessories. Trans would've been a smart idea too. What year L67 is it? 92-93, 94-95 or 96+? That will also affect what you need to do.

So you have a 92, and you want to put in an L67, but you bought one that needs to get rebuilt? You don't have the engine harness, PCM or tranny?
This is going to be the best advice you have heard all day: Sell everything you have, and buy a working 96+ SSEi for around $2500. WAY less headache.
