93 sse w/ supercharger you guys say is NOT normal/common. peterg22000 says rare is a better word than unique. (symantics ) i don't mean to run this into the ground but, where does the panther fall within the hierarchy of bonne's?? is she a collectors item ? humor me i'm bored ! :bhuh:

unique implys one-of-a-kind, which you car is not, but Rare is more accurate,

along the lines of a hierarchy in rareness, im not totaly sure but its under the Supercharged Se (very rare!) there are a few other rare combost too.. Cloth SSEi's, bubble butt (no spoiler) SSEi's, and possibly a few other things..

Peter I think you met your match as far as sexy Bonneville's go. I would hate to be the judge if the two of you entered a car show contest. You both own next to flawless looking rides and I hate you both  j/k

if i would start putin after market stuff on her, like pipe intake, flow master 80 etc. then she would fall under "modified" yes? and not stock anymore. what about cosmetic upgrades, sill plates, clear corners still stock or not ? in a show which is more desireable, stock or modified? thanks corinne and panther

1992-1993 were a bit odd in terms of options..

In 92-93 you could have an SSE Bonneville with the L67( 3800 Supercharged ) engine... And in some cases you could have an SSE with the L67 and with every possible option.. Sometimes we see an SSE Supercharged with more bells and whistles than an SSEi...

But for 94-99 That changed... In these years the only way to have a Supercharged SSE was to add the SSEi package...

And for 95-97 you could have had an SE Bonneville with the SLE Package, and with the SLE package you had an option for the L67 Supercharged engine

thanks for clearing that up ,sir. i half remember (1993 !) that skip ( sales man who is still at the dealership, we've become friends)......skip told me that this car had all/some of the options of a SSEI except for the "i" . and i thought he called it a gold "package" or some kind of "package". so this is all coming together. i would like to know my bonne's "roots" !! :bcrazy: i thank you again, corinne and panther

The so called gold package is just a dealer-applied pinstripe.

You should post a photo of your RPO tag as well (found in your trunk underneath the carpet.)

And where it was built

Hey Another thing that would be awesome if your's still has it in there is the Build Sheet. If you open the trunk go to the passenger side hinge of the trunk lid. And look inside the frame of the trunk, if the build sheet is there you should be able to see it. Thats will have the RPO codes listed on it, as well as Panther's Birthday (Date of completion/left the factory).

I still drool coming back to this thread!
