What is acceptable oil pressure?

Post by Barry »

1999 SSE L36 110,000 miles.

At idle, gauge is at 40 lbs. Under throttle it is at 60 lbs. Is this about what it should be?

Thanks. The car runs great. I just had never read what the acceptable readings were, and was curious if mine were in range.
