Post pictures, sounds, and VIDEOS of your 3800 or Northstar powered Bonnie/Grand Prix(H & W Body ),Buick( H & C Body ) or Oldsmobile( H,C,G & W Body ) here. We want to see 'em! (Any picture or video files must be posted on a server somewhere to be linked here). Also post pics of Regional or National meets. THERE IS A 25-PIC LIMIT PER PAGE IN THIS FORUM. ADDITIONAL PICS MUST BE LINKS TO AN ALBUM OR TO INDIVIDUAL PICS. Meets are exempt from this restriction.
Yes, just ramping up the meet. 6th annual WCBF (west coast bonneville fest). Longest running consecutive meet for Bonnevilles in North America.
More people still rolling in. In the meantime, Taylor and I are up to an early start on Celin's (id97gtp) YBSTOCK 97 GTP. Various possibly related phantom electrical problems. Way be on to something here.......thanks to some late-night help from the PDXCGP forum last night. Hoping Celin and Keven are sleeping in at the KOA. Would be fun to find the problem and give her car back fixed.

Still disconnecting. Jared got the motor, they brought the wrong one. Another L36, not L67. He decided to go for it anyway. He's on his way to get gaskets......

LOL Bob you are probably on the phone with them to be up to date. Hope all goes well with the engine swap.

While some people were anxiously awaiting the engine swap, a few of us decided to cruise out to the coast anyway. If any of you know my wife, you know that she can get cranky when plans change, so the coast was not an option.
I was a little dissapointed with Mo's. Long line to get in, long wait for food. Chowder was good, but I think the chowder at Fast Eddies in Nanaimo (near where I live) is better.

The *dang* coast is your back yard. No biggie.
The harmonic balancer on the blown motor was stripped. A little ingenuity saved it. I think I'll wait to post pics in the morning over coffee (after house-biotch Taylor makes it). We're beat right now. Everyone else is back at the KOA. Big mess, but major progress so far. Head gaskets will arrive no later than noon tomorrow, we're hoping earlier.
Test and Tune Friday night will be a no-go most likely for Jared, Taylor, and myself while we get this running. We're shooting for putting it on the track Saturday morning for competition.
Boss455 (Ray) blew up. Trans let go. We had a car already half way to him, heading that direction. Rescue on the way, may not have many options for the car. We'll get him here though. myfirstbonnie was on the way to pick up nursebonnie, and they live in Hillsboro.
