Re: advice on porting L36 throttle body

You are right, I will wait untill I have my pcm tuned. In the meantime I will get a used one and work on it. Does the zzp TB have a larger butterfly than the stock. I notice it says bored from 65mm to 68mm. That is probably achieved by using sand paper around the entire inside.

Here is one on ...

Re: advice on porting L36 throttle body

so it may be a waste of time to mess with l36 TB. the L67 seems like a lot more work. I don't have a lot of money and I was hopeing to do A free mod here.

Re: advice on porting L36 throttle body

Pretty much just like this shows right. This was for L67, but I get it.smooth out the edges left from cutting out the T, then buff. Am I missing anything?

advice on porting L36 throttle body

Do I take out the whole T. Any other grinding need to be done before polishing other than removeing the T. I'm going to try this and I'm not a pro or anything, so any advice will help. I think I will be OK, if it's as easy as it looks.

I figure I can save 150-$200 to try this myself, then i can ...

questions on customer specified PCM tune, N/A 95

Only $55 for a customer specified tune through sinister performance. I'm not sure what to ask for or what to tell them besides remove stock limiters/governors, and wanting more performance.

What are some things I should have them do? nothing bad for the car.

Naturally Aspired 95', what else can I do?

I am wanting to add some more horse to my 95 bonnie. I have already a 9" K+N intake, a ZZP HV3 insert, and a high-flow muff.
I want the ZZP L36 HV throttle body next. Other than that is there any thing else I can do for some horse? Will the L36 PLOG from ZZP work on the Bonneville? Would it be ...

Re: anyone good with Custom box design

I love car Audio guys if you couldn't tell. I will be doing all the work myself. A lot of trial and error to look forward to.

The only port in the box itself will be throught the trunk entry. since I will be putting mdf across the back of the back seat. The sub will face the rear the port will come ...

anyone good with Custom box design

I want to eventually design a ported box where the port is the fold down trunk entry. I would also be putting in a horizontal port between the 6x9's in the rear deck, to get sound from the front and back of the sub. I'm going for SPL/soundquality

I need to find out the exact volume of the box and ...

Re: alternator overdrive pully on zzperformance

I will check my voltage drop here in the next day or so. I'm going to work on an alternator first. Then a Batcap, later down the line.

I was really hopeing the overdrive pully would do the job on the alternator output. I was asking before I went to spend the money on an alternator, $16.99 would ...

Re: alternator overdrive pully on zzperformance

Ya, I was thinking a batcap which is a battery with the same ability as a capacitor. The thing is I think my alternator is to weak to add a cap just yet, especially since I still want to add another amp.

Re: How to tell if my bonnie has a stock alarm/keyless entry

It is just a keyless remote. I just read it better. There was another one I was looking at that said alarm. Oh, well I was hopeing it had an alarm. I will try what you said to see if it works. Will also check spare tire code.

Here's the link to the remote

Re: alternator overdrive pully on zzperformance

The big three didn't help to much. Didn't see much of a differance. I would like a cap eventually. But I think it would only add more draw on the weak alternator. I think I am just going to have to look into a ssei 140 amp alt that will fit my car.

I am looking also at a Xstatic 800 watt batcap ...

How to tell if my bonnie has a stock alarm/keyless entry

I want an alarm on my car and before I go buy one I want to check if mine has a stock one. How can I find out. My car is a 95 sse. and I read that most came with a stock alarm.

I found a oem alarm button on ebay that I can program to the stock alarm in my car. It's made for my car.anything info ...
