I am wanting to add some more horse to my 95 bonnie. I have already a 9" K+N intake, a ZZP HV3 insert, and a high-flow muff.
I want the ZZP L36 HV throttle body next. Other than that is there any thing else I can do for some horse? Will the L36 PLOG from ZZP work on the Bonneville? Would it be worth it to get a ZZP downpipe with high-flow cat.

the high flow muffler wont gain you anything, I would stick with the PLOG, downpipe and high flow cat. You will feel those differences, but if you really want to add some power, get rockers or a cam.

How much work is it to change the cam? I'm guessing not to easy. only $299 if I can do it myself.

Its not too bad.
I did mine only after doing an HVII.. I used the HVII instructions and an L67 cam install write up as a guide. You'll have the drop the p/s subframe a little to get the cam out through the wheel well..
And you'll need a cam install kit with a new chain/damper, all the fluids, RTV, etc. So factor that into the cost.. It would be a good time to do springs/retainers at that point too.
P.S. The ZZP GT1 cam is your best choice hands down.

Best thing to do if you're knowledgeable about that sort of thing is get HP Tuners and do it yourself. If not ZZP or Intense can do one for you.

95 Uses an EPROM... Usually people with the 95 L36 just go to Sinister Performance for their EPROM burns... Great group and easy to deal with..
Also keep in mind anytime you start to mod, there is a possibility that your modding can turn to this...

I guess it depends on how hard you drive the car...
When that motor went I had the Ported Lower intake, Intense Fender Well Intake kit... ZZP PLOG( Performance Exhaust Manifold ), High Flow cat...
The motor before was only minus the PLOG.. I ran it hard and Piston slap is what finished it off..
I am on the 3rd motor.. It still had the Ported lower, High flow cat and Intense Intake..
Down the road I will consider a series III L26 with a mild cam and 3.29 gears and may invest in another PLOG..
The only thing I was trying to tell you is you have to pay to play, and sometimes your engine will not be forgiving..
I am also curious as to what the build date is on your 95...
