Re: Time to sell the 02

Ya I think I will just do that as well. I dont know how to post pics on here, kinda new to this but I could link it to the craigslist ad. Why an SLE though? Why not the SSEI?

Re: Time to sell the 02

Hey thanks for the advice ken. I listed it in craiglist for $6900. We'll see if someone bites on it. To be honest, id rather see it go to someone here on the forums, who I know will appreciate the car and take good care of it. If anyone is interested, they should pm me and we could probably work out ...

Re: Time to sell the 02

Got another kid on the way and just dont have the time or money to really develop this car at the same time as my other one. I still have all the stock parts and it runs better the way it is now. hate to let it go but its time.

Re: Time to sell the 02

I gotcha about the parts, but at least they help a little. KBB lists it in good condition with the mileage at $7300 private party sale and its somewhere between good and excellent condition. I was actually surprised to be honest. Excellent condition, add another $500 on top of that. But at least it ...

Time to sell the 02

Hey everyone. well its time to sell the ssei but before i post it in the for sale section, I wanted to get some honest opinions of how much to let it go for. Its a silver 02 with 91k on it, a CAI from JMB performance, powder coated red, along with some other nice dress up parts in the motor. Got a ...

Re: Think my Body Control Module is failing...

You know, i was having some similar problems with my drivers side window control panel. I took the door panel off and replaced the big module thats under it thinking this was it, but it was just a waste of time. I ended up being the actual control panel that has the window buttons on it. Apparently ...

Re: How to: 2000+ radio light fix tutorial (45pics)

Hmmm, how about changing the plastic to a blue one then? I thought I read somewhere in these forums that someone had changed all their dash lights to blue ones. That would be nice, well blue is my favorite color. Also, anyone know of any white face gauges for our dashes? I've had no luck finding any ...

Re: Brainstorming on lowering engine temps

Kinda funny you guys are talking about meth and what not, I had just mentioned about bringing this up in another thread. I have a turbo car that I run a 50/50 mix of meth and distilled water. while willwren is correct in that the meth doesn't cool down engine temps, it does wonders for the boost ...

Re: No power windows or power doorlocks?

Hey, I guess I shouldve picked better words. What I changed that finally did the trick was the group of switches that raise the windows up and down. Im not sure what its called but it houses all four window switches, as well as the power window lock out switch. As for the meth kit that ill start a ...

Re: How to: 2000+ radio light fix tutorial (45pics)

All those little red bulbs in the picture, can those be replaced with blue ones? And if yes, which part number from Radio shack would I use? I was thinking of changing all the interior dash lighting to that color and want to know if its even possible. Can that be done to the vehicle display cluster ...

Re: No power windows or power doorlocks?

I know this is a bit old but i've been gone and just got my car fixed. After swapping out DDM's on the driver side door with no luck, I tried the actual window/power lock module itself. Turns out thats what it was all along. Windows, memory seats, power locks all work fine now. Now this summer, I ...

Re: No power windows or power doorlocks?

Its kinda funny that I found this today. As of a few days ago the control panel on my drivers side door stopped working. I cant lock/unlock my doors, lowers windows on any of the doors, or even switch between driver 1 & 2. Also I noticed that sometimes the window lock button will stay illuminated ...

Re: SSEi real carbon fiber badges?

You got some really nice work there scott&di. Sounds like you can probably make exactly what I want. obviously I'm looking for real carbon fiber on the SSE and i can stay red, but as long as it looks just like it, I would be happy with that. let me know once youve posted pics of the one you have, i ...

Re: SSEi real carbon fiber badges?

Oh yeah. Im working on it, and trying to apply some of the things ive done to it, to the Bonni. It'll never be as fast or handle as well the Evo, but I know I can get some good performance out of it.

Re: SSEi real carbon fiber badges?

Well, it would be just for appearance, not really for "speed". On my Evo, i've replaced alot of pieces that were originally like abs molded plastic with carbon fiber, both for looks and weight gain. Besides, a CF badge on either side, wud like nice on my silver bonni.
