I was glad I could sell it to a fellow bonneville enthusiast on here.
yeah, if I had the time money and garage space, its an excellent car once fixed up, lol. You even take better pics of it that I do. *bling bling* don't forget to throw away those plates.

other issues BESIDES my trans...
i'm getting ahead of myself here because i def need to fix my trans first, but it doesn't hurt to research. in order to pass inspection(and because it needs it, obviously), i need to change my front wheel hubs/bearings, my outer tie rod ends, and sway bar endlink(RH side this time). Looking on Rock ...

Re: What to remove to access rear spark plugs on SSEi's?
i'll also chip in my vote of not really removing anything. i just undid my coolant overflow tank and moved it outta the way(didnt even disconnect the hose)and I'm a gorilla with big&long arms, lol. MUCH easier than my ole LT1 fireturd. i usually get to #6 on the right side, i dont know if its ...

Re: yet another reason to not go to Aamco
I was told that the 4t65e-hd's in grand prixs will not work and that I will have to find one from a 2000-2002 bonnie only. Is this true?

Re: yet another reason to not go to Aamco
I'll call them and ask about the solenoids and clamped on hose. I looked at just trading this car in, I was getting fed up with dealing with maintenance issues, but I've been late too much on my payments because of those issues. So, credit is too bad to move on, gotta save up money to have it fixed ...

Re: yet another reason to not go to Aamco
its out of warranty and the aamco i had it rebuilt at is in arnold, mo, 45 miles from here. they are franchise locations, so the ones around here want nothing to do with it. its been a little over a year and it had a 12 month warranty.

Re: Anti lock brake dash light and traction control light?
yeah, shortly before my trans went out again, they failed me not on the abs light but BOTH front hubs/bearings(and tie rod ends). thats at least something I can do, but it has to wait.

Re: yet another reason to not go to Aamco
Yep. They filled it like they said they did. When it leaked out, the fluid looked good as new. I'm gonna wait until I get paid, then go have it towed to a trans shop that I've got good feedback on.

yet another reason to not go to Aamco
I just took my car to Plaza Tire here to get my car inspected. The trans cooler line came off in their shop. Seems that they hose clamped the trans cooler line on and it came loose. Made an embarrassing mess in their shop. LAME.

Re: shifting hard(jerking) on rebuilt trans
yep. they replaced the front mount while they had it apart(i ordered an Anchor one and they put it on). i checked both side mounts and back mount too because there is a "clunk" when going over bumps. seems solid. i thought the clunk may be ball joints...

shifting hard(jerking) on rebuilt trans
Hey guys. Sorry I got another question about this cursed car. I got the transmission rebuilt at Aamco a little over a year. I also had them put on a heavy duty transmission cooler. Anyhow, it was doing fine(even shifting better than stock), but lately it has been shifting hard. Especially when it ...

I second that. I got a 3" hogan downpipe and had to get an o2 sim because it set off a code. Too "highflow".
