Re: Is 10-11 MPG even possible?!?!?!?
There's a few factors that will affect your mileage in the winter. The biggest impact is probably coming from gas. I know here in MN almost all the gas is a 15% ethanol mix. So when weather starts to get 30* or less my mileage starts to tank, usually 3-5 MPG a tank.

You finally decided to tell the natives...
Have you figured out everything on it yet? I know the gas door was a real head scratcher for ya.
Good looking ride, but then I'm a bit biased.

Re: You gotta do what you gotta do.
I havent noticed it being too far back. The only thing that would make it awkward is if you are one of those idiots that likes to stand up through the sunroof. :???:
From what I have read, factory sunroof's on the GT are really rare. The 19"s are part of the sport and/or premium package, can't ...

Very nice Seth! Let us know when you are ready for some performance goodies :)
You know I will.
With another G8 going to MWBF maybe I should bring mine up? :)
Do it. How much do you charge for personal shipping and handling? :P
I got it back from the sunroof and auto armor today ...

Re: You gotta do what you gotta do.
This one was sitting in their showroom floor and was the dealer demo, so I got a little bit more of a break because of that.
I decided on the blue because it's the one color that really draws the eyes. I didn't want black because it's a pain in the rear to keep clean and when you get that first ...

Most will say a 3.4 pulley is the "1 step" down pulley, but if you're worried about KR try a 3.5 and go from there. Looks like you keep the car tuned up so most possibilities for KR have been eliminated.

Re: Where do you buy your tires?
Mankato Oil & Tire, local Goodyear dealer. Really helpful and great to work with. The owner is kind of a car guy, he let the(old) MN Grand Prix club have an event in his parking lot a few years ago. Burnout contest and all.

Re: Tire Recommendation
I'm a little leery of Goodyear - I've had two sets on two different cars over the years and didn't get very good wear out of them.
All Goodyears will wear a bit faster than others(in normal driving). They typically have a softer compound than other brands, like Michelin, which are very hard. Most ...

Re: Goodyear Assurance TripleTreds
I've had these on for a number of months and can't find any reason to complain.
For a all season tire they seem to be really good. I didnt loose traction at all during our slush storm Tuesday, was able to do the speed limit just fine without any worries.

Schell's brewery tours...
Only a half hour away, so yeah, I'd probably show up.

I'd prefer the weekend after halloween. Does anyone really care where we meet up. If anyone has a preference for location, post it up now.

Re: I'm getting ready to give up.
Keep in mind that the car is 15 or 16 years old. Stuff breaks when it gets used on a daily basis for that long.
