check your cabin air filter to make sure it is not clogged up with leaves and debris and change it if you have never done so.

Re: Steering wheel adapter not working
the steering wheel control measures the different resistances when you press each button. You have to cut the wires for the control buttons (blue and purple) at the steering wheel column and connect the adapter wires to the wires running up into the steering column in order for it to work. If you ...

Re: Gm07b connector
If you connect the connector to the dock and lock and use a voltmeter, you can test the orange and red wires with the ignition on and off to see whic one you can use to power on your aftermarket HU. There should not be a need to run a separate wire for power. The original wiring is on retained ...

Re: antenna module removal
You have to power up the antenna module using the red wire with 12 Volts from the dock and lock connector behind the HU or it won't work. The rest you can leave alone. One coax goes to the radio, one to the rear glass antenna for AM and FM, and one to the front glass antenna FM only.

Re: P0300 code
The delaership is telling me they ran some tests and the misfires are coming from cylinders 5 and 6. Since I never had a misfire before it left the dealer seems unusual that 2 coils or plugs would go bad at the exact same time, both on different banks. Now they want to swap out the coils with other ...

P0300 code
My 04 GXP with 62K miles. I filled it up and it was running fine. Then then next day I took it to the local Chevy dealership to check why the oil pressure was zero (they said the sending unit was bad and wanted over $300 to repair so I told them I would do it myself). It was idling and running fine ...

Re: Oil Pressure Guage reads "0"
The gauge sweeps normally at start and then goes to zero and stays there. So I'm gonna say its not the gauge?

Oil Pressure Guage reads "0"
My 04 GXP has a reading of "0" on the oil pressure gauge. Would this more likely be a bad sending unit or stepper motor in the gauge cluster? Vehicle runs fine and only has 63,000 miles.

Re: Rear Door Speakers
The rear door speakers do not do a lot. I have the 8 speaker system and when I replaced the amp, I put triaxials on the rear deck and left the rear door speakers disconnected. You don't have an amp but getting better speakers for the rear deck will make a big difference.

Re: Has anyone tried the Bluefusion BFCL2K Bluetooth integra
The Bluefusion is discontinued and the literature says that the module is not compatible with the Bonneville. You would be better off getting an aftermarker HU with Bluetooth built in and using the proper adaptor will allow you to keep OnStar.

You need a GMOS-09 adaptor. The GMRC-04 is not for cars with amplifiers and is not listed for Bonnevilles.

Re: Power wire routing question
I would say an alternator with higher output is needed. In addition for safety issues your battery must be vented as it in the passenger compartment. The originals had vents on the sides with hoses that plugged in and ran under the floor pan to vent.

Did you check the RAP fuse and relay under the back seat. Try swapping relays.

Re: Aftermarket system/Specs of Installation
some of the GMOS-09 are labelled incorrectly on which wire to cut. There is no need to bypass the Monsoon unless you plan to upgrade speakers.

That's the first Crimson Tricoat that I've seen with the gray interior. I like that combination a lot better than the beige interior. Nice clean looking car.

Re: Backup Camera
The dock and lock harness has a back-up signal pin B4 (top row, 4th pin from left), and two power leads run on retained accessory power B1 and B1, top left 1st 2 pins. You can connect the radio to one of these and make your back up camera connections from there as well.

Re: Tire Recommendations.
I was not as happy with the snow handling of my DWS tires on my 04 GXP. I used to run Dunlop Signature on my 02 SSEi and I felt they were much better. No complaints about handling and feel on dry or wet roads.

I have to agree with Lane on this one. And I am looking over your list of awesome mods so it does not appear you wanted to keep the car factory original anyway.
