That was my first thought. As far as I can see it affects the starter solenoid only. Worth a check at least.impala67 wrote:PRNDL switch? If its busted, car wont crank

Re: Quiet PS, now noisy PS, with magnasteer system
I think the 92-95 ( maybe later if without Magnasteer ) is an on off solenoid...
So can this solenoid be faulty? I understand the 20 mph, but you would think that at a certain speed it either on or off. Now it seems like "on" (power steering) with "off" for a split second, to turn back to "on ...

Re: Crickets under the hood
Eh ... I had a sound like that on my 94, and in my case it was ... geeeeeeeee ... I only know the name in Finnish, but it has to do with the AC, it's a bearing and from Finnish translated "AC free clutch bearing". I found a word "A/C Idler Pulley Bearing", but very unsure if that's it.

Re: 1993 pontiac bonneville sse flasher relay location
1994 its behind/next to the fuse box. You need to remove the bigish plastic panel mounted with 3 bolts left of the steering column (the panel that has the lid for the fuse box). The emergency flasher relay is somewhere else, don't know yet ...
Hopefully my description was good enough.

Re: 96 RADIO - CD WILL NOT EJECT
In my experience it can be the CD drive itself that is dirty, but more often the CD discs!
When you try to eject it, does it even try to eject? Do you hear the motor?
If you have problems skipping songs, it points to the CD disc itself. People think CDs are for ever, but that's an illusion. They ...

So the rest of the car is free of rust? The bumps are not a bigi (unless the car is pregnant), it's only what meets the eye. Good to get fixed, but maybe at the same time take a closer look at the whole car for rust? If it's like my car, I would especially remove the rear bumper and check there. On ...

Re: 1994 flasher
In my case a "Heavy Duty" thermal flasher, Wagner 536/552 did the trick. Flash rate is back to normal with bigger load. The stock flasher Wagner 224 was to fast with more-than-stock load.

Re: 1994 flasher
I think I found some more about this on the Net. There are something called "Heavy Duty" electronic/mechanical flashers, while a "basic" flasher is thermal. I think mine could be thermal. I should probably try a Heavy Duty.

It comes down to what the market wants really.
True of course. But what if the market is wrong? :P
The Camaro SS comes with 20" wheels, and is riding essentially the same platform.
On the new Camaro 20" it looks almost like they could be accepted. But only almost; the Camaro would look better ...

1994 flasher
Asuming I have the stock flasher in my Bonnie 94 SSE, I would need advice if there is another optional flasher I could use?

Those rims look amazing on there! So jealous.
I think the oposite. Those rims make the car look ugly, they are way to big. It's not a lorry, is it? Not to speak of that such a low profile on tires make it look like the car is driving on rims only (like a medieval wagon).

Just checking if the front side markers are flashing from stock on a 1994 Bonnie SSE?

How much are you looking to spend? You can pick up a really good Bonnie GXP for under 10k. You can get both a G8 with aV8 and a Bonnie GXP for around 30k Now a G8 GXP is a different story.

Bonneville GXP 2005
Looking for to buy my "last" Pontiac, i.e. as new car as it gets. I am VERY suspicious against the Holden G8, because I want a real Pontiac. So we have the Bonneville 2005 as the last(?). Or is Bonnie 05 also built in Australia? It's not a Holden, or is it? If I want a "real" (USA/North America ...

Front brakes are 100% the same left and right, I think they where 3N. Parking brake also 100% ok.
