Just checking if the front side markers are flashing from stock on a 1994 Bonnie SSE?
I noticed the front side markers are still flashing after "restocking" my front parks/turn signals to amber (even if not legal). Before the front parks were white with no turn signal function. I did the change back because it was obvious that the others cars didn't notice the Bonnie's turn signals as they where only at the edge of the car (over the front side markers in the same housing; white part).

Re: Flashing side marker?
In North America market Bonnies, the turn signal bulbs that flash are the one closest to the grill (amber bulb) and the one in the small corner light housing (amber diffuser lens in the bottom section). We didn't get a bulb in the upper section of the corner light.
Does yours have the amber bulb in the outer spots of the main headlight?
Here's a diagram of sorts, looking at the driver side from the front.
BA = blinking amber turn signal/parking lamp bulb
H = Bright bulb
L = Low bulb
(Grill) BA H L BA
The second BA is in the corner lamp.

Re: Flashing side marker?
Yes, "the one in the small corner" I call front side markers, and they do work as turn signal also (BA). That would be "the amber bulb in the outer spots of the main headlight" I persume. So yes, I have a amber bulb there now, as I had before.J Wikoff wrote:and the one in the small corner light housing

Here's a diagram of sorts, looking at the driver side from the front.
Before, the customized "euro" lightning was: The BA closest to the grill was a white bulb working as park light only (P, the turn signal wire was cut). For some reasons the previous owner didn't think the outmost BA (sidemarker) was enough visible as turn signal in this setup, so they had installed a amber bulb as additional turn signal in the empty spot above the sidemarker. To this bulb was the original turn signal wire from the center BA connected.
BA = blinking amber turn signal/parking light
H = bright bulb
L = low bulb
P = white parking light bulb (single filament bulb)
F = blinking amber turn signal (single filament bulb)
(Grill) P H L BA F (F above BA in the same same housing)
But as I said, the fact that there was no (big) turn signal front (only P), did that I decided to "restock" the car for better turn signal visualibility front. It's not legal to have amber parking lights (front), but ... eh ... who cares? I have them also on my Trans Am 2001, and so far the police hasn't stoped me because of that ... *knock* *knock*
So I'm now "North American stock" on my Bonnie:
(Grill) BA H L BA
I was just a bit surprised that the outmost BA was also working as turn signal, since mostly sidemarkers are not flashing, right? But I read that it is legal over there, and it's acctually a good thing. There can't be too many turn signals.
