Re: 1999 SSEi project
I'm still in total shock that happenned!!! I'm glad you weren't planning to use my old engine, but I still feel really bad. That's about the last thing I thought could go wrong.

Re: Ideal Boost Levels
I'm not sure exactly, but I got it new at the end of 2006 right when they started to display MPG and they came with 2 extra analog inputs. The only thing close to duty cycle it displays is injector pulse width in milliseconds.

Been a little while...
It was absolutely beautiful today - sunny and upper 70's. It's been forever since I've posted any pics! Sorry about the lack of angles, but at least the scenery changes.

Re: Ideal Boost Levels
Just to verify the question above, the Aeroforce gauge for my '99 SSEi gives me PSI, NOT duty cycle.
To be honest I have no idea what PSI I'm running right now because I have KR displayed all the time and trans temp on 95% of the time when I'm going WOT.

Re: Help with my new Intense FWI
My PCM is zip-tied to the side of the engine bay along the fender. It seems to be holding up just fine there anyway.
The trays are made for the 2000+ models from what I can tell.

Re: Clear Corner Laws
I know someone on here tinted the amber part on the rears red instead of clearing them and it came out sweet. you could also just tint the tails black.

Re: Blown lower intake gasket (hopefully) or head gasket
99.9% chance it's the lower intake gaskets. If you haven't done so already, drain your oil immediately. Any coolant in the bottom end can damage the bearings.
Overall it's not a super hard job.

Replacement MPS Screws
What are you guys doing for replacement modular pulley screws for your Intense MPS's?
I see ZZP's website has M6 stainless screws for their replacements. I seem to remember ZZP and Intense's stuff is compatible too. I'd rather just go to the hardware store if that's easiest (and probably cheaper).

Re: Milwaukee area - June 14 or 15
Are you traveling through Madison? Any idea if you're planning on Saturday or Sunday yet? I'm busy late afternoon Saturday. At the very least maybe we could meet up quick for a couple pics or somethin on your way to or from home....

Re: clear corner bulbs for a 96 SE
Do you want something like this?

http://autolumination.com/194.htm
Get 194's for the corners and 3157's for the front parking lights to get a 100% clear look while still having the lights turn yellow when lit.
Here's my example...

Looks great guys! I'm back on board. Sorry for my relative absence from the other forum lately, but it's been pretty crazy with the new job, house, and girlfriend;)
