Re: Blazer foglights?
i've had blazers on my old car and they were great when paired up with an hid kit - stock bulbs were very weak.

Re: What's it called?
the fine folks at GMPD were able to get me a part number for the item. if anyone else needs it, it's 24506665 - this is for the supercharged models only. GMPD price is $8.79, about half of my local dealers $17.xx price.

Re: What's it called?
Anyone know the name or part number for the u-bend hose coming out of the EVAP canister purge solenoid. One end connects to the purge solenoid, the other to a hard plastic tube. There's another u-bend hose at the other end of the tube which is connected, I think, to the manifold (didn't look too ...

Re: Tranny Mount questions
thought i'd share - i'll be replacing mine soon too and have read about guys using hockey pucks or making them from polyurethane. i think i've found a very cheap replacement - stoltz boat trailer rollers. they're made out of polyurethane, cost less than $20 shipped and have a bolt hole through the ...

Re: Anti lock light
idk if it's the same issue but i had the light on for a few weeks and the abs was not working (anti-lock light only). there's a flaw in the routing of some wiring under the hood right above the tranny - the gear selector lever/linkage rubs on the wires and in my case it snapped some wire (light blue ...

Re: Which air intake would you get?
OK, this is a bit off topic, but I'm not sure I've really ever seen this addressed before. I want to get an Intense FWI, and its on the list for future mods, but I'm not personally sure why I should do this, only that the club swears by it and I take that word for gold.

Re: CAI vs. FWI
i thought about putting in a fwi in mine but the stock setup doesn't look restrictive enough to bother, and doesn't it suck air from inside the fender anyways? i wonder if a k&n or a dryflow filter replacement wouldn't be the same as fwi - airflow wise.

Re: What do failed UIM/LIM gaskets look like?
you guys got me convinced, but i think i'll take it to my local lube shop where they can flush all the coolant out...my neighbors would cry too much if i did it in my driveway :) i had cops come out a few years back, when i had my fiero's rear in the air and engine on the ground, to see if i'm not ...

sc my 05 se
:idea1:
pretty new here but i've read a bunch about performance on the un-sc 3800. i see a lot of guys putting in cai's and computer upgrades for more power but i haven't seen anyone slap an sc instead of the intake manifold...why?
i talked to a tech at my dealership and he said that if i wanted ...

Re: What do failed UIM/LIM gaskets look like?
hi guys. i'm new here, just bought an 05 se a few months ago and i've read a bunch about UIM/LIM's failing on bonnies.
is my year prone to do that too or did they fix the problem? my coolant reservoir is exactly the same level as TenGHz's but doesn't seem to drop.
