what issues would i run into going to the new 97+ pcm? would all the warning lights and gauges on the dash still work? is the pcm the only thing i would have to change?

L36 to L67 swap on a 1995 Bonneville?

Hey guys I am thinking i may one day swap out my L36 for a L67 that i can turbo. my question is sense the L67 i would want to get is of 1996 or newer, how many of the computers would i have to swap to be able to get it to work properly and be able to tune the ecu to run a turbo?

this is awesome. i would love to do something like this to my care on day but i have a lot to learn. did you start with a stock n/a 3800 and what did u have to replace/upgrade to get the power and boost u wanted? do you know how much power the car makes now?

i for got to say that i had to replace the belt tensioner and i replaced the plastic elbow with an aluminum one.

when i get the new water pump in i plan on flushing and changing the coolant before i change the pump. i also have to get new tires sense they are dated from 2005 and where sitting for a year.
