New member with new car

Post by soundman9826 »

Hey guys, i'm exited to have joined. i just bought my 1995 Pontiac Bonneville with 175,000 miles last month for $350 and it is going good. she was sitting for a year when i got her, ran real rough and got worse. but she runs good now. the spark plugs where original and where pretty bad and one cylinder was not firing. so far i have changed the oil, oil filter, trans oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, front break pads and rotors (I have the stuff to do the rear drums and shoes when i can), serpentine belt, harmonic balancer, rear speakers and radio (nether of them worked), and one coil pack.

i plan on replacing the water pump as it is leaking coolant and seems to be coming from there as coolant is getting on the belt and it flings coolant every where.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB, be sure to inspect the leak carefully cause there are plastic elbows that like to leak and can be mistaken for w/p leaks.
