A friend of mine has a magnaflow on his 4.8L 1500, IMO it is not loud enough, it has a little grumble to it but barely any louder than stock

Pulled the trigger on a 260HP/350TQ crate motor today. It is not a powerhouse, but its all new and will provide me with some good bones to build upon. Also ordered thinner head gaskets and a more aggressive cam to put in, this combo should net me about 325HP.

Unfortunately it looks like all board attachments on BPro were lost during host migration as we were unable to get a perfect backup.

The oven is not necessary, but it does make things easier. If you let them warm up to room temp you can manage to finagle them apart. I have done over a dozen sets and only ever baked 1 or 2...

3: yes. it would be horrible. When I had my SE I took the resonator out, swapped in a high flow cat, and kept the stock muffler and it barely sounded better than trash. 3800s NEED a resonator to sound reasonable at all

What I would do:
Swap to Dorman upper intake
Replace lower intake gaskets
Swap to metal coolant elbows
there is basically zero chance you need to do the head gaskets

Yes, defrost runs the AC to dehumidifyBonnieBoy08 wrote:If the defrost is on I think they will run regardless as that somehow makes use of the A/C compressor even though its blowing warm air. Try turning all interior climate control functions off and check if they are still running.

Really anything is going to scratch the *shoot* out of the clear... god knows if it is snowing out you have sand on your car.. pushing the snow off is just going to drag sand and ice all over it
