Could be a problem with the connector or wiring. The refresh rate on the scanner may not be fast enough to catch it. Does your scanner do graphing? Monitor the TPS reading while wiggling things, and pushing around lightly on the harness
So I tried that, and at idle it would read about .4 ...

Re: Transmission problems. 2000 SSEi
[quote="MKMike"]P0102 is not a TPS code; it's a code for the MAF sensor which will make your transmission and engine do very strange things.
Sorry for the trouble, the code was a Po121 Its diffiently a TPS related problem that I cannot figure out. BTW Forgot to mention I ended up replacing my TPS ...

Check for leaks, no slippage at all? Any check engine lights?
So it did throw a code the night I posted this and its got to do with the TPS code po102 I believe. Though I switched it out with the old TPS sensor I used to use on my old throttle body, and the same problem seemed to happen ...

Transmission problems. 2000 SSEi
Yesterday and earlier today my car drove fine no problems there, but I drove my car to work later today and my transmission started really acting up, all of a sudden if I put my foot slightly more on the pedal to gain some speed it would drop into 3rd gear but it would do that much earlier then it ...

Re: NEED HELP, New throttle body casued P0300 Random misfire
Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Check all the rubber fittings, they love to crack, especially if you bumped them during the install.
You were absolutely right. Thanks so much for the advice. A vacuum line basically fell apart that I didnt notice because it was under part of the wiring harness ...

Re: NEED HELP, New throttle body casued P0300 Random misfire
you got scan data?
if the miss is only at idle, I would first check the IAC. and verify that TP is correct value
just for giggles, unplug the maf and see how it runs.
Not sure what to check? Because like I said I did switch out the reused one from ZZP for my own. Is there a certain way to put ...

(SOLVED) New throttle body casued P0300 Random misfire
Hey guys today I put on my ported throttle body (From ZZP) on my bonnie and all of a sudden its just misfiring and idling horribly. Then it almost kills itself just sitting and with then rev high to stop it from dieing. If i give it some throttle it will take an unusual time getting back down to ...

Re: Headlights dimming because of subwoofer
What type of capacitors have you tried? That should work - if not your only option is to get another battery which is going to be expensive and annoying.

intercooler tips, advice, questions?
Edit* let me say before this, I've read alot of threads talking about these intercoolers but these questions I've not been able to get an answer to.

Re: Exhaust comparo
The owner of the grand prix's in the video says that its fine on the highway and not to loud or droning. He also says its ran with a glasspack. That is the cherry bomb one of course. At higher rpm I think the cherry bomb exhaust sounds off, I prefer the borla one myself. I've got SD headers+ ZZP ...

Always nice when it's a simple & relatively inexpensive fix.
You are right! No longer stressing about the problem and that gives me more time thinking about what performance/general upgrades I want to do next, Like a smaller SC pulley or maybe a ...

Re: trunk reflector
All you can get are used trunk reflectors. They are not cheap, nor are the two clips holding it in place. Andrew, aka harofreak00, is the best source to get them. Either PM him, or go to his website: http://www.bonnevillesunlimited.com/ . That's your best bet

Re: Headlights dimming because of subwoofer
To be honest, even my little 300 watt RMS 10 inch sub will dim my lights if have a song with deep notes playing. Especially if there is already a decent load on the system from brake lights or the climate control.
First thing is first though, max wattage doesn't matter. Look up what your amp and ...

As bearings go bad, they may just feel rough when you turn them by hand, rather than there being too much play.
I changed out all the pulleys and belts with good quality replacements from Rockauto and Amazon when I first got my cars.

So, how loud are you playing this thing???
Uhhh...Decently loud, but not loud enough to hurt my ears XD I mean I've got a amp capable of 1300 watts and a 1200 peak watt subwoofer that is wired to have the least resistance possible so its pulling 1200 watts easily.
I will look for a RF cap but ...
