I got mine from Amazon - Good price, and I have free shipping with Amazon Prime.
Though, if these are the shocks you're referring to they are NOT identical to stock - They have a larger Diameter shock body, among other small differences.

Hit a milestone today..

Put 30k on it so far. Not a lot, considering it's been almost 3 years.

Seconded, all my Bonnevilles (All N/A Series II, with both transmissions) could spin the tires just fine.harofreak00 wrote:00Beast wrote:On a stock car it's hard to get rubber from going into it from a dead stop.I don't agree at all. Shannon's car is 100% stock... it will light em up anytime.

I wouldn't worry about the rear one unless it's throwing a code. It doesn't affect anything, it only monitors.

Well there's not much I can do about it. Although in the conditions on the day of the first pic (16" of snow) it wouldn't have made a difference! I couldn't even come to a stop if I wanted to keep moving.

Re: Shaking at highway speeds
This is a common problem on the 00+ models. I've had it for a while now and new tires or brakes did not help.

I have 50%. In cloudy or indirect light it looks great, in bright sun it doesn't even look tinted.

Fuel level sender question
My fuel sender is going wacky, and it might be a bit before I replace it.
Does the DIC "fuel used" parameter use the injectors to calculate? It would give me a better estimate than just using my trip meter if that's the case. If it also uses the sender in those calculations it's kinda useless.

Re: Ign adv
That will also depend on the car, the temperature, and the gas being used. KR is a separate parameter which some scanners can read.

Re: How did you find pontiacbonnevilleclub
I don't even remember to be honest.. It was probably sometime around 2007. One of the earliest searches I did here was how to change the water pump on my 1997 SE, but i don't think that's how I discovered it.

Re: The newest car in the stable
Yeah this one is turbo. I'd say it's about equal to an N/A bonneville in speed. It just doesn't have that off the line torque.

Re: The newest car in the stable
Funny enough, the passenger side blade was gone completely. I was able to cut down the rubber from an old wiper blade and slide it on the metal bracket that was there. Not perfect but it works for now.

It is in really nice shape, and actually moves pretty well for a 1.9L

Regal engine noise (whine)
My sister is looking for a car, and my dad test drove a Buick Regal that had a noticeable whining noise while the engine ran. It sounded kind of like an alternator whine, but didn't seem to be coming from the alternator. It increased as you accelerated, but was hard to pinpoint. I shot a quick video ...
