Then, there is no line noise.
So - in my ongoing panic to have iPod integration ...

Re: iPod adapter installation (2001 SE) w/lotsa pix
So, I don't know if he did it correctly, but I had one of my "handy" friends (he does a lot of work with electronics) perform this mod. It worked, in terms of accessing the XM through Channel 0. However, my Harmon/Kardon drive+play sourcing through this accessory cable sounded like .. um .. poopoo ...

Re: Installing Rokford Fosgate 3sixty.1 in 2000+
I finally got around to installing it today with a friend and everything is in and working!
My friend took a bunch of pictures with his camera so I will do a little write up when I get around to it. While everything is in and working properly, we still need to build a wall or rack for ...

* wired FM modulators are a waste of time in densely populated (meaning, lots of FM stations) areas
What kind of adaptors are you referring to? Ive used wired fm direct adaptors for satellite radio and they are a beautiful thing as far as factory integration goes. Do you mean the kind they use ...

Re: Interesting new factory head unit replacement product
interestingly, from everything I could find out, this unit won't really work with our Bonnies. The unit won't reproduce the door/key chimes, nor will it maintain the OnStar.

Monday evening, I had my 05 GXP's factory speakers swapped out with Polk 6 1/2 (model EX365) and 6x9 (model DB690) - I left the factory tweeters, after having purchased some lovely Polk tweets (model db1000.)

I'm going to work on installing a Harmon/Kardon Drive + Play this weekend, and I wish to utilize your outstanding discovery on wiring in from the line out mini-plug to the XM radio -
This leads me to a question - since I don't know exactly WHERE my XM radio module is to find the appropriate plug to ...

You guys are AWESOME. I'm about to go on a two week road trip, and .. wow. I just bought a Harmon Kardon Drive + Play 1 new in the box, but was still uncertain about the in-line FM modulator.
Now, I can either use the Drive + Play or NOT (it gives charging and easier control over playlists) but ...

So, my Red Rocket has picked up two bad habits
First, the transmission is hunting quite a bit - staying in lower gears longer than normal. It doesn't seem to be slipping, but .. having had a Grand Prix GTP with a 4T65E tranny that chewed itself to death, I'm nervous.
The more disturbing thing for me is that the HVAC (which is always ALWAYS left ...
